The museum is now located on the North West of San Vincente. It is the former monastery of San Telmo, which is now a renaissance building of the 16th century. The occupant of the building is now the great The Museo de San Telmo. On the ground floor is located the gravestones, stelae, mill wheels etc. Also there are some exquisite pre-historic collections.
| In this museum a multi-disciplinary center pertaining to 16th century convent has been set up. There are sections found in the museum. These are stated as follows;

In this museum the visitors will find exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, drawings, engravings, weapons, medals, coins and ceramics etc. This sincerely indicates that all these are a in-house collection which reflects the evolution of social life in the Basque country through the ages.

The works of reputed artists like Greco, Alonso Cano, Rubens, Depice are also exhibited in the museum along with the works of contemporary artists.
The museum remains open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday. The hours of operation are from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. In the second half it opens from 4 pm to 7.30 pm. On every Sundays and other public holidays of Spain, the operations of the museum continues from 10.30 am to 2 pm. Monday is the official day of closure of the museum. There is no amount charged on the admission to the museum. | |
