The huge wealth of various items is actually the proof of the fact that diamonds were discovered in Portugal and formed an important source of revenue for the royal people. The ceiling of the winter garden and the music room were a gift from the Viceroy of Egypt and the Ch'ien period respectively. Other famous things of the palace are kept in the Throne Room and the dining room. There are various crystal chandeliers, chairs which are covered with silk, and a lot more things. All these attracts a large number of people.

The Ajuda Palace also has 23 marble statues at the main entrance. They remind of generosity and gratitude. There is also a monument which is dedicated to the King Carlos.
